After consulting with Swords to Plowshares about their evaluation systems and related communications, I was invited by staff to support strategic planning. I met in person with board members individually for in-depth, in-person interviews to inform a full-day retreat for this dedicated board of vets serving vets. With input from staff, I designed and facilitated community-building activities and breakout discussion sessions. Leadership used my report of interview findings and retreat notes to inform their strategic plan giving emphasis to succession planning for the organization.
