Generating Engagement and New Initiatives for All Latinos; Generando Entusiasmo y Nuevas Iniciativas para Audiencias Latinas (GENIAL). With NSF funding, the Exploratorium brought together over 100 practitioners, community leaders, media specialists, and researchers from across the United States and Puerto Rico. Their charge: identify needs and opportunities for Latinx informal science education environments, build professional relationships, and articulate emerging questions, actionable insights, and forward-looking recommendations. As the external evaluator, I participated in summit planning, recorded observations of the events, and conducted a follow-up survey of participants.
